Careful health preparation is particularly important when traveling to tropical and subtropical regions. At our practice, you receive individual travel medicine advice tailored to your destination, length and type of travel, personal medical history, and current vaccination status.

Yellow fever vaccination

Yellow fever is a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes that occurs in parts of Africa as well as Central and South America. Depending on the destination, yellow fever vaccination may be recommended or required for entry.

As a state-authorized yellow fever vaccination center, we administer the vaccination following an individual medical assessment and document it in the international vaccination certificate. Please bring any existing vaccination records and information about your planned trip to the appointment.

Preparing for your appointment

Please arrange your consultation as early as possible before departure. Bring your vaccination certificate, itinerary, and an up-to-date medication list. Which vaccinations are appropriate will be discussed during your individual medical consultation.
